Shopping Centre can better giving intentions
There is this local shopping center that does a decent job in attracting people to the location and encouraging purchases. However, while the cash discounts in the form of vouchers are always a wonder hit with the shoppers, the promotional giveaways always do not get excellent shopper response. The reason is simple; their choice of promotional gifts are often lacking.
We’ve seen some dull looking bandanas, a small packet of full cream milk and a cheap looking plastic key chain being given on separate occasions. There was no intent to have good design, much less structure the promotional gifts in line with some campaign branding. One wonders how did the decision makers let pass such gifts as giveable? For the same marketing budget, certainly more functional, better designed gifts could be obtained.
Every promotional gift is a representation of the shopping center. They have done a decent job with their “Pick red-packet from tree” and “Buy $100 vouchers for $80” kind of campaigns. Now go the extra mile to give stylish and practical promotional gifts for their ongoing campaigns.
