Book gives credibility to dating service provider
Was browsing in the library just when a nicely designed cover sprung on me. Fishing it out, realized that it was a book published by the dating company It’s Just Lunch. Being curious, I started flipping thru the pages and was pleasantly surprised.
In there, a lot of practical dating tips were provided, including specific details of local hot spots that you can go to for the first date, for the follow up date, for the romantic night out, for drinks after midnight etc. Glancing thru, it really feels like you are getting information from a dating guru.
The book gave a lot of credibility to It’s Just Lunch as a dating agency that will help you with your relationships. Hey, the book itself is very readable and besides its marketing intentions, can be a revenue churner!
Providing information in a perceived non-sales channel/environment is a great marketing idea to give credibility to your intangible services. Consider writing a book the next time to frame your services in an informational way.
Hmm, I will love any car workshop who gives me as a corporate gift, a book on how to maintain my car road-worthiness. I will stay loyal to that one.
