Does your marketing connect with earballs?


Granted we are a promotional gift and corporate gift company, but it doesn’t mean we will only recommend that in your marketing arsenal. This author makes a very good point about using technology to reach the “earballs” of your intended audiences. Sound can make an intimate connection. Paraphrasing the author, here are some suggestions on doing audio marketing.

  • Use your voicemail creatively.
  • Speak with good phone manners as people can hear a smile.
  • Put audio introductions, instructions etc on your website.
  • Present your business case in a fascinating audio story, record into CD and disseminate.
  • Hold teleseminars.
  • Extend office hours and give prospects a set time to call, when they are in the mood to purchase.
  • Interview industry experts and place content onto web or disseminate via CD (and MP3s).
  • Create and facilitate user groups.
  • Get on radio, develop a podcast or put a simple made video on youtube.

Be absolutely creative in harnessing new audio and communication technology to put a smile on your customers’ face!
