Thinking on the box

Check this out, lonely male farmers who hardly have the opportunity to meet people of the opposite sex, decides to put their photos on the milk cartons that they deliver in an attempt to reach out to a possible date. That’s great thinking out of the box, or rather, thinking on the box.

You don’t have to be looking for a date to use this brilliant promotional gift stunt. Your packaging box does not have to be plain. Instead it can be conceived as a marketing touch point to disseminate information about your brand and/or product. So food providers, consider putting some yummy nutrition information about your delicious food on your take-out boxes. Bakeries, that carton holding half a dozen of cup cakes can have cut-out coupon to encourage repeat purchases. Or that tissue box maker can simply have a joke of the day printed on their boxes to differentiate themselves from the market clutter.

Promotional gifts don’t have to be overtly fancy.
